    Yes. I was processing a texinfo file. In this case Karl's kpathsea.dvi.
    I had noticed this phenomena with other Gnu stuff and I made some
    attempt to edit the source - to no avail! I have the documentation for
    texi, it is, of course, a texinfo file!
